Amazing match, handball full of fight and dynamics. Difference was not as big as the result would suggest. We have a big rotation, players showed they can achieve a good result, deliver a good performance. By that our goalie was great too. By that I'd like to congratulate Metalurg on great outings in CL.

Klemen Ferlin, Gorenje goalkeeper:

We've prepared for the match well, especially for their power -play actions they are really good at. We've known that their goalie is also a big part of their game and it was really important to deliver a quality defensive performance. We've shown more than them taking a well-deserved win.

Aleksandar Jovic, Metalurg assistant coach:

Congrats to Gorenje on a victory. We were unfortunately good only in a few moments and were always somehow chasing them and we missed a lot of clear chances in that process. You simply can't afford yourself to do that against such an opponent if you wish to win. Defense was not on the required level either. Apart of what team has to give in each match, individual quality is often required to do an additional step forward. With our coach Cervar we'll keep on developing that aspect.

Key was our weak defense and missed clear looks. It's time for EHF week which we must use to prepare well for upcoming matches and analyze our mistakes. There were simply too many of them today.
