Lapajne scores six, adds nine assists as Tatran sail past BSU
Tatran have on Wednesday evening managed to grab three new SEHA points celebrating at home versus BSU 38:25. Prior to the match coach Goluza stated that three points are a must for them in this one and that he wants his players to go out there and deliver a good focus despite of the fact they were given a big favorite role prior to this one and that is exactly what they did.
However, BSU once again proved that they are slowly progressing being able to stay close throughout the entire course of the first which they finished with only a four-goal deficit (17:13). In the second half Tatran were way better on the offensive side of the court slowly opening the gap all the way to final +13.
Janus Lapajne delivered a splendid performance scoring six goals from just as much attempts to go with nine assists. Javier Munoz Cabezon and Lukas Urban added seven each while Cvitkovic (2) and Chupryna (12) combined for 14 saves which proved to be enough for a dominant win versus BSU. Jianjie Zhang on the other hand scored eight for BSU.
In only three days Tatran will travel to Novi Sad to meet Vojvodina and BSU will in a week welcome Nexe.
