Butorac scores 9 as Tatran edge Zeleznicar
Tatran Presov have managed to remain in Final 4 race with a narrow 27:26 win over Zeleznicar at home. It was far from easy with guests managing to stay close all the way until final few minutes when Tatran opened the gap to four (27:23) with a little less than four minutes left to play which sealed the deal in this one as there was simply not enough time left for guests to turn the result in their favor after that.
Guests however opened the encounter better as they were able to stay in front throughout almost full course of the first half. However, Bruno Butorac managed to net one to level the score at 13:13 right before the half-time whistle. Butorac led Tatran's offense in this one finishing the match with nine goals and three assists. Lukas Urban added five. Predrag Vejin on the other side netted seven for Zeleznicar while Vladimir Jevtic scored six.
It is interesting both teams will, next time they step on SEHA courts, face off against Metalurg – Zeleznicar will welcome them in Nis in a week and Tatran will host them in Presov ten days later.
