Amazing atmosphere here today and I'd like to use the opportunity to congratulate both my players and Vardar of course. Macedonians have a better team but I think we today proved you can endanger anyone despite of the fact you maybe appear to be a weaker team on the court looking at names only. I wish for my players to believe in themselves as much as I believe in them because I honestly believed we can pull this surprise off today.

Roberto Garcia Parrondo, Vardar coach:

It was a very close match. We've had good ten minutes in the first half and during that period we've managed to open the gap. Later in the second we simply slowed down and hosts gained momentum but we won the match in the end.

Marko Mishevski, Vardar player:

Our attack was today a better segment of our game and we'll have to improve that because as we all know – defense wins games. We've prepared well for the match and in the end managed to win all three points which is all that matters.

Jakub Hrstka, Tatran player:

Atmosphere was really amazing here today. We started the match off well but then had a bad period in the first half. Second half was much better but unfortunately it wasn't enough to turn the result over playing against such a quality team like Vardar. In the future we have to work on keeping our focus in decisive moments and take advantage of home court.
