Motor cruise past Tatran Presov for premier Final 4 appearance
Motor Zaporozhye have managed to book what will be their first SEHA - Gazprom League Final 4 appearance on Sunday afternoon. In the second leg Gintaras Savukinas and his guys celebrated with dominant 29:19 win.
Tatran Presov once again managed to start the match well, not allowing Motor to open the gap early. Tomas Fech led them with five goals in the first, while Artem Kozakevych scored three for Ukrainians. After the first 30 minutes match was levelled at 12:12. Defenses were once again on a high level with neither team scoring many easy goals. Gomok had 5 saves in the opening half while Colodeti grabbed one more.
Ukrainians managed to open the gap in the opening part of the second half, just like in the first match yesterday. Ivan Maroz had a couple of great saves in that period while Vladyslav Dontsov and Viacheslau Bokhan provided width to their attack. Marcos Colodetti grabbed some more saves while Tomas Recicar led their offense in that period. That was unfortunately not enough with Motor cruising towards the victory. In the end a big 29:19 triumph with Kravchenko, Dontsov and Bokhan leading Motor scoring four each. Tomas Recicar on the other side netted six for Tatran.
Motor have in that way managed to book a place in Zadar at SEHA Final 4 tournament.
