Big congrats to my players for the win today. We expected a hard match and that is exactly what we could see. We played two demanding matches in the past few days which have certainly taken their toll. However, we were concentrated and opened the match well. Shame we didn´t manage to keep the gap opened until the end of the first. Defense was better in the second and Chupryna helped us close this one.

Oliver Rabek, Tatran Presov player:
We opened the match very well, but I am mad we let Nexe get back into this one. After that we've spent so much energy regaining the lead. All in all I'm really happy we managed to win this one as a team.

Hrvoje Horvat, Nexe coach:
We had a poor start to the match which is also due to the lack of competitive matches. This was something that Tatran took advantage of. What I am happy about is that we fought until the end. We still have a lot of work to do on both sides of the ball. Now we have two weeks before another match and we can´t wait to play our EHF Cup match where we need to show our best handball of the season.

Marin Jelinic, Nexe player:
Congrats to Tatran on the win and also to my teammates. I think we've played a good match. Despite the goal deficit, we didn´t give up and displayed a strong team spirit. This is something we can build on for the future.
