Rastislav Trtik, Tatran's coach:
- It was quite hard for them today once we got the lead from the beginning of this match. This was our first home match of the season and I hope that we have offered a lot to our fans today. We still need to take a lesson from mistakes we made today.
Vladimir Božić, Tatran' player:
- It was a first home match of the season. We have done quite well in both defense and offense and I believe that it was good preparation before Champions League matches.
Branislav Zeljković, Spartak's coach:
- I am not satisfied with today's performance of my team. We are not that weak as it has been showed by the result of this match. Tatran've played well in defense in the second half. We''ve made so much technical mistakes today and Tatran have taken clear advantage of them, mainly by fast counter attacks and shooting. I hope that next games will be better for us. Congratulations to Tatran.
Slobodan Čupić, Spartak's player:
- Congratulations to Tatran, they've deserved to win. We have made too many technical mistakes today and I hope we will do much better in three days in our next match.
In the next round Spartak will on September 9th travel to Novi Sad to meet Vojvodina and Tatran will three days later play in Našice against NEXE.
