Borac and Vojvodina secure champion titles, Zagreb and Vardar win domestic Cups
SEHA Gazprom League's participants are finishing with their domestic League duties. Last week we have seen two of them win domestic Cups and other two secure position 1 in the League.
BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA: Borac is new-old champion of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In final series they were better than Izviđač from Ljubuški with 3-0 (33:26, 27:25, 34:30). In the last clash Mirko Mikić scored 11 goals, Ratko Nikolić 8.
SERBIA: Vojvodina has also managed to defend national title. Final confirmation was a win in Šabac against Metaloplastika 24:23 which means that 2 rounds before the end they have 7 points more than second positioned Spartak which was defeated in Belgrad (34:28). Fight for position two continues - Spartak has 9 points, Partizan 7 and they will probably decide Serbia's second participant in SEHA Gazprom League's next season.
CROATIA: PPD Zagreb have in Umag, for 22nd time, reached Croatian Cup trophy, in there 23rd final in 24 years. Zagreb were in semis better than Varaždin (Mandalinić 6) and second Croatian representative in regional competition - NEXE have managed to beat Metković 38:19 (Nuić 7). In final PPD Zagreb have on wings of Luka Stepančić with 8 goals managed to celebrate with 33:27. Barišić-Jaman scored 9 for the team from Našice.
MACEDONIA: Vardar have for 10th time won Macedonian Cup beating city and SEHA rival Metalurg in final with 26:22 (Dujshebaev 8/Vojvodić 6). In semis Vardar were too strong for Zomimak with 46:25 (Shishkarev 10) and Metalurg have beaten Prolet 24:20 (Đukić 5).
HUNGARY: Big final series has started in Hungary. In first clash SEHA champions Veszprem have managed to beat PICK Szeged at home with 29:23 (Nagy 9). Second match will be played in Szeged.
BELARUS: League part is coming to an end with an important match being played between Meshkov and SKA Minsk in which Meshkov have managed to reach a win 38:28 (Baranau 6) and secure first position for play-offs.
SLOVAKIA: Final series is coming to an end with Tatran leading 2-0 against Hlohovec. After win in Prešov, in their first match 40:25 (Urban 7), they have also managed to reach an away win in Hlohovec 31:22 (Rabek 7) waiting for deciding match which will be played in Prešov.
