BEST 7 | Round 1-3
First three rounds offered us some incredible matches full of great moves, assists, goals and saves. In encounters behind us, some players, however showed more than others which helped earn them a spot in our first ‘Best 7’ of the season. Therefore, the time has come for us to have a look at who made our ‘Best 7’ cut after the opening three rounds of the new SEHA – Gazprom League season.
Left wing - Milos Grozdanic
On the far left we have Vojvodina’s Milos Grozdanic who was dominating in the first match against Nexe scoring six goals from seven attempts and going three out of four from the seven-meter line. In Vojvodina’s two matches, Grozdanic scored seven goals in total.
Left back - Oliver Rabek
Left back Oliver Rabek finished two Tatran’s matches with 20 scored goals. Two matches against Vardar and 20 goals for legendary Rabek. In the first one in Presov, he scored 10 adding two assists. In the second leg, Rabek netted 10 times.
Center back - Janko Kevic
Nexe’s Janko Kevic was leading his team in the attack against Vojvodina scoring three goals from the seven-meter line, five in total. In two played matches he scored seven times and had six assists.
Right back - Oussama Hosni
In Novi Sad, Oussama Hosni scored two goals and in the match against Nexe, Hosni netted three goals including one from the nine-meter line giving out four nice-looking assists as well.
Right wing - Nenad Kosteski
Kosteski was looking unstoppable on the right wing against Vojvodina scoring seven goals – three from the counter-attack and four from the position. In the encounter against Nexe he netted four times, meaning in total he scored 11 goals in two matches.
Line player - Luka Rogan
Another player from Vojvodina made the cut. Against Eurofarm, Luka Rogan scored four goals from only five attempts. To conclude he netted eight times in two encounters.
Goalkeeper - Martin Tomovski
In three Vardar’s matches, Martin Tomovski proved to be one of their key performers. His 13 saves against Partizan did not go unnoticed. With two 'Player of the match' titles in his statistics, he has 34 saves.
