Eurofarm against Bidasoa, Zagreb motivated before the trip to Poland

Eurofarm Pelister

The final week of excitement in both the Maschineseeker EHF Champions League as well as European League before the winter break lies ahead of us which means it is time for our final EHF weekly preview in 2022. Let’s dive into it!

Maschineseeker EHF Champions League
After a few good outings and in a good atmosphere, PPD Zagreb will travel to Poland to play Wisla Plock in a match that could easily bring us on the verge of sealing the deal in Group A, at least when it comes to who goes through to the knockout stage and who doesn’t. ‘Lions’, led by new coach Slavko Goluza, surely won’t lack motivation against a team that secured a point in Croatia in their premier encounter of the season. This is definitely one you don’t want to miss out on!
After a big win over Polish Wisla Plock at home last week, Telekom Veszprem will now travel to Romania to play Dinamo in Bucharest. Dinamo proved to be a great team, especially when backed up by the amazing atmosphere their fans make in every one of their home games. Coach Ilic and his guys are however coming in motivated and eager to deliver another good performance after managing to defeat Romanians 33:30 in Hungary in their premier encounter of the season.
Tuesday, 15.12. (18:45 CET) Dinamo Bucuresti – Telekom Veszprem
Tuesday, 15.12. (20:45 CET) Wisla Plock – PPD Zagreb
EHF European League
After a loss in Hungary last week, Tatran Presov will have a chance to take revenge against Veszpremi KKFT this Tuesday at home. Tatran were not far away last week in Hungary suffering a narrow 30:28 loss and they will surely be motivated to reach what would be their premier win of the season in EHF European League.
After a win over Granollers last week in Nasice which kept their winning streak alive, Nexe will this week travel to Spain to meet the same opponent with hopes of having a perfect first part of the season – without a single loss. The team appears to be in good shape with the winter break just around the corner which makes this match the one you surely don’t want to miss out on.
Same as Tatran, Eurofarm will this week also look to take revenge at home after last week’s away loss against Bidasoa in Irun, Spain. Henneberg led Eurofarm with five goals in Spain in a match that they lost 32:20 and they will surely be motivated to prove that’s not the real difference when it comes to the quality of these two teams.
Tuesday, 13.12. (18:45 CET) Tatran Presov – Veszpremi KKFT
Tuesday, 13.12. (20:45 CET) Granollers – Nexe
Tuesday, 13.12. (20:45 CET) Eurofarm Pelister – Bidasoa Irun
EHF European Cup
Serbian Partizan Belgrade managed to come out with a 29:27 home win over Slovenian Gorenje Velenje in the second leg of their matchup. Unfortunately, that wasn’t enough for them to secure a spot in the next round of EHF European Cup as Gorenje managed to defeat them 28:20 last weekend. Vojvodina's second leg match against Forthof UHK Krems was postponed until further notice.
