Nexe looking for the spot in EHF European League semi-finals against GOG

Nexe

The time has come for EHF European League quarter-finals. In our weekly preview we’ll get through all the matchups and of course focus on our last SEHA – Gazprom League representative in the competition. Let’s get started!

Croatian runners-up Nexe Nasice is the only SEHA – Gazprom League representative team left in the competition. Coach Tamse and his guys will look for the EHF EL final tournament ticket against Danish GOG – a great team full of experienced internationals like Torbjörn Bergerud, Viktor Hallgrimsson, Mathias Gidsel, Morten Olsen, Jerry Tollbring and others. Nexe’s players have, however already proved that they are capable of defeating anyone, especially at home in front of their supporters and it will be interesting to see whether the team from Nasice will manage to make this final step towards securing a place among four of the best teams in EHF European League.

In other matches, Magdeburg (GER) will play Nantes (FRA), Kadetten Schaffhausen (SUI) will face off against Wisla Plock (POL) and Benfica (POR) will look for the semi-final spot versus Gorenje Velenje (SLO).
