Exactly a year ago Vardar showed their team strength on one of the biggest scenes there are. Dream team wrote their name in golden letters with the victory against Telekom Veszprem (27:24), becoming European champions for the second time in their history. The same year they won SEHA champions title, as well.

365 days ago they made us proud again! The Skopje miracle, a club whose heart beats as one. A club whose players and fans are like family members. We do not hesitate from calling them the golden generation. Such continuity, grind, discipline and commitment are not seen every day in the sports world. And all that dedication was worth it.

It is hard to forget the scenes of millions of golden confetti flying through the air of the famous Lanxess Arena, that team's pride and, finally, the award – Vardar's players lifting that Champions League trophy. Igor Karacic as the MVP of the tournament, Ivan Cupic as their good spirit, Dejan Milosavljev as a rookie who became a star, Dainis Kristopans as the goalgetter, Timur Dibirov and Stojanche Stoilov living for the 'Red&Black' family and their 'El Comandante' and head coach Roberto Parrondo. Vardar's achievements, although, stand for TEAM WIN. That is Vardar – a great team with an even bigger heart. Skopje feels it, the fans feel it. It wasn't just a matter of a very good physical condition - it was the team spirit and unbelievable energy, we are especially proud of.
