As the national competitions in Slovakia have finished prematurely, Slovakian champions Tatran Presov announced that they will not extend contracts with three players - Janus Lapajne, Mario Cvitkovic and Leon Vucko, who all played for the club for a few years. Lapajne and Cvitkovic arrived to Presov in 2017, while Vucko wore Tatran's jersey even longer.

''Two and a half years in Presov ran fast, too fast. During my stay here, I met new friends, different cultures and, finally, grew up as a human being. I lived in Paris for two years, but life in Presov was better, mainly because of good and smiling people here. I wish everyone good health and lots of success'', said Lapajne for the official club's website. Slovenian centre back scored 132 goals and had 105 assists in 48 SEHA appearances for Slovakian champions and was one of the key players of Goluza's team. This season, Lapajne also led the League in assists with 35. The 25-year old will continue his career in Switzerland, as he signed for HC Kriens-Luzern.

Croatian goalkeeper Mario Cvitkovic, who has been in Presov since 2017, is also saying goodbye to the club which introduced him to the big stage. He will join BSV Bern from Switzerland. Nevertheless, he notes that he is thankful for the opportunity to play for such a team. Cvitkovic was also very effective in three seasons in SEHA – Gazprom League, counting 143 saves in a total of 50 appearances.

His countryman, Leon Vucko, had difficulties finding words for the official site, given that Presov had been his home for four years. ''I had the opportunity to play in the Champions League, the SEHA League, the EHF Cup, to win the League and the Cup. I say goodbye to Tatran in a good manner'', he stated for their website.
