Rastko Stojkovic’s comeback
Serbian champions, Vojvodina signed a new reinforcement and it’s a well known SEHA face - Rastko Stojkovic. Of course, this won’t be the first time Stojkovic will show his skills on SEHA court, as he was part of Meshkov Brest from 2014 to 2018. Although, the amazing thirty-eight old line player, announced the end of his playing career in 2019, the Stojkovic era continues as he makes his comeback to handball joining Vojvodina ahead of SEHA - Gazprom League Quarter finals.
Stojkovic spent five incredible seasons in Meshkov Brest; in 77 appearances he managed to score 339 goals. To this day, he is the club’s top scorer in SEHA - Gazprom League. He also was a part of the SEHA Final 4 All Star team for three years in a row, from 2014 to 2016. Besides Belarusian champions, Stojkovic also played for Serbian Crvena Zvezda, Polish PGE Vive Kielce, German HSG Nordhorn-Lingenfrom and Israeli Maccabi Srugo Rishon Lezion.
On top of his excellent club career, he also showed his brilliance while playing for Serbian national team as he famously won the silver medal at the EHF EURO 2012. Not only was he a great player, Stojkovic was a great team leader and role model who contributed so much to the handball world. Now, he has a chance to do it all over again!
