Ilic is leading a team of great, young, most promising Hungarian players which was today reinforced by some experienced internationals. Before the match I jokingly said it would be science fiction to defeat this team. I mean, I never go into a match with a losing mindset, I am always looking to win but I have to say we were maybe a bit more fortunate today. Nevertheless, I am really proud of my guys, of the fact they delivered a good performance in this atmosphere here today. This means a lot to them. I also want to say I wish coach Ilic best of luck in the future.

Aleksa Kljajic, Metaloplastika player:
Big win for us. Despite of the fact they came here with a combined roster we proved everyone we can play with high-quality teams and that we've really progressed as a team.

Momir Ilic, Telekom Veszprem assistant coach:
We were levelled all the way until three minutes before the final whistle but then lacked strength to finish the match off. Young players I had today are not on the required level, they are quite scared and that's why I had to use Strlek way too much today. We missed a lot of clear chances. We have a lot of work ahead of us but experience like this can only be good for the team. I hope these younger players will next season have a lot more chances to grow and develop. Congrats to Metaloplastika.

Good match for all the fans but unfortunately we played badly. Metaloplastika were simply better today. We have to forget about this, keep on training and that's it.
