Croatian vice-champions Nexe are starting this season's EHF Cup in the 3rd qualification round. On Saturday, 16th of November they will meet with Portugese team SL Benfica in the first leg of that round. This clash is scheduled for 18.00 (CET). 

Nexe will start their EHF Cup journey on the home court as they will host the Portugese team in Nasice, King Tomislav Sports Hall. In the previous season, Nexe confidently finished the 3rd qualification round and got all the way through to the Group phase where the competition ended for them.  

On the other side, the guests already started their EHF Cup adventure this season in the 2nd qualification round. They were better than Croatian team Dubrava in both legs and found their place in the next qualification round. 

It will be an interesting clash where both teams will be looking for the win that would give them a confidence boost ahead of the second leg of this round.
