Second victory against Meshkov Brest for Hungarian champions
Hungarian champions, Telekom Veszprem have secured another points on the home court in the match against Meshkov Brest. David Davis' squad were better than Belarusian champions 32:23 (15:11). This was the second time in this season that these two clubs met and second win for the Hungarian champions.
The start of the match was very tough and the teams were playing goal by goal. Mikita Vailupau continued with his incredible scoring and secured three goals advantage for the guest team in the 13th minute. Being three goals down, Telekom Veszprem have stepped up their play. In just five minutes, Hungarian champions completely turned the result in their favour. And by the half-time, they had a 15:11 lead.
In the second half, Veszprem really showed their dominance on the court. They didn't alowed Meshkov Brest to come even close to a draw.
Manuel Strlek with 8 goals was the biggest star of the winning team, while brilliant Mikita Vailupau with 12 goals was once again the best scorer for Meshkov Brest.
