The 9th SEHA – Gazprom League season participants, Serbian Metaloplastika and Russian Spartak will compete in the 2019/20 EHF Cup.  Metaloplastika will start the competition in the first qualification round against Turkish team Besiktas Aygaz. Their first match is scheduled for the 30th of August, and the second leg of that same round will be played on the 31st of August. This won't be their first time in the competition as they were already a part of the EHF Cup two times before. Their best achievement so far was in the 2010/11 season when they got all the way to the third round. Besides many amazing moments on the SEHA court, Metaloplastika will also have the chance to play against great teams outside of the League and achieve more good results. 

The team from Moscow will also start their EHF Cup adventure in the first qualification round. Their first opponents will be the Swedish team Malmo on the 1st of September. The second leg of the round is scheduled for the 8th of September. This will be the second time for Spartak to play the EHF Cup and great opportunity to improve last season's result when they got through to the second qualification round. In the new edition of the EHF Cup, Spartak will have the chance to create some new memories and achieve good results outside of their domestic court!
