Meshkov Brest are the champions of Belarus for the 11th time
The best Belarusian team in recent years has secured the national title one more time. The decisive match was played against Masheka, where Meshkov won 49:23. They were in a historic form in the national championship, setting a record with 25 wins in 25 rounds! The team was led by Raul Alonso, who replaced Manolo Cadenas on the bench of the Belarusian champions after the club and Cadenas agreed to terminate the contract.
This season, Meshkov Brest won bronze at the SEHA – Gazprom League Final 4 and once again reached the Last 16 of the EHF Champions League. Overall, they achieved some very good results and played terrific matches in the Champions League and in SEHA - Gazprom League, but becoming the national champions for the sixth consecutive time will be the season's highlight for the team!
