Well-deserved win for Meshkov here today. We were hoping for them to rotate the team more which would give us a bigger chance but that didn't really happen as they decides to play with their best players for almost the whole game. Offense was not that bad but they were hurting us way too much from outside and our goalies were not on the required level either.

Martin Serafimov, Metalurg player:
Defense was the key today. We were hoping for a better result but weren't as aggressive as we should have been on the defensive side of the court. Pesic was also great between posts grabbing a few important saves when it was needed the most.

Andrey Mochalov, Meshkov Brest coach:
We were well aware Metalurg have a young, fast team. We prepared good for this one knowing we need these points. In key moments of the game we were able to keep pur focus and finish the match in the right way.
