16-year-old Nikolic matches his career-high six goals as Vojvodina defeat Izvidjac
With a 23:25 home loss against Vojvodina on Thursday evening, Izvidjac remain the only team in the League without a single victory so far this season. Coach Bjelis and his players were hoping that this could be their chance to finally reach a win hosting weakened Vojvodina but that did not happen with Serbian champions delivering a dominant performance taking full control of the match in the middle of the first and not letting things change until the final buzzer. Guests were two goals up after first 30 (10:12) enlarging the gap to six (14:20) in the middle of the second which sealed the deal in this one as it became clear they will be taking full bags with them to Novi Sad. In the end 23:25 with Jovica Nikolic leading their offense scoring six. Milos Grozdanic and Srdjan Milic added four each. Vedran Delic on the other side scored four for Izvidjac.
In the next round Izvidjac will play Vardar in Skopje and Vojvodina will look for new points at home versus Metalurg.
