First half was good but in the second we've played really poorly. Bad defense and a lot of turnovers. They wanted it more and deservedly celebrated in the end. We had to come here with a combined roster because we have a really important championship match back in Belarus. 

Alexander Bachko, Meshkov Brest player: 

Second half was, as coach already said, really bad. We were really tired and forced to rotate the team a lot and as a result we lost the proper rhythm. Vojvodina were better today. 

Boris Rojevic, Vojvodina coach: 

I'm very satisfied with the way we came out of the locker room for the second half.  I told my players we need to put in some extra effort in order to come out victorious and we got that extra boost from Tomic and Milic today. I repeat, we once again played with back players whose average age is only 18 so that definitely makes me happy. 

Milos Grozdanic, Vojvodina player: 

This victory is like an icing on the cake of a pretty good period in which we managed to win Serbian Super Cup and get through to EHF Cup third round. We were running the court well today, especially in the second and delivered a solid defensive performance. We must keep up the good work and keep on improving.
