After it was announced that Konstantin Igropulo has left the club, Meshkov Brest acquired the Croatian international Sime Ivic from Orlen Wisla Plock.

The 25-year old signed a 1-year deal with the Belarusian champions and Cup winners, after spending the previous 2 seasons in Poland with Orlen Wisla Plock. Before playing in Poland, Ivic played for Celje PL, Nantes and Nexe- where he gained SEHA – Gazprom League experience. Despite only being 25, the right back has plenty of experience playing on the big stage, appearing in not just the strongest European leagues, but the EHF Champions League and the EHF Cup too. Ivic scored 96 EHFCL goals in last two seasons combined, but he also has a solid SEHA – Gazprom League tally with Nexe. In 35 matches, Ivic scored 134 goals, and he showed his versatility too, especially in the second season when he provided 29 assists.

Sime Ivic also has some experience representing Croatia, and there is no doubt that he will be a terrific acquisition for Meshkov Brest next season, especially after signing Sandro Obranovic and Darko Djukic.
