Nexe sign Vladan Loncar
After completing the signing of Ivan Vida from Dubrava Zagreb, the Croatian vice-champions have signed another player. It is Vladan Loncar, a left back from Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Loncar is a 21-year old back player who spent a couple of years playing in Hungary and Spain. His last club was Gyongyos in Hungary, but he was signed by Pick Szeged in 2014. He made his debut in the EHF Champions League in the 14/15 seasons against Aalborg, but has mostly been on loan in other clubs. Loncar playerd for Granollers in Spain in the 16/17 season, in which he played in some EHF Cup matches.
For Nexe's website, Loncar said that playing in competitions like the SEHA – Gazprom League and the EHF Cup was one of the main reasons he decided to leave Gyongyos and sign for Nexe from Nasice. For many years, Loncar has been regarded as one of the brightest talents coming from Bosnia and Herzegovina, and hopefully he will finally have a chance to prove that on the bigger stage.
