Vardar and Nexe found out their opponents in the EHFCL and EHF Cup
The reigning European and SEHA – Gazprom League champions Vardar are going to play against THW Kiel in the Champions League quarter- finals. The first match is to be played in Germany on the 22nd of April at 17:00. These two teams have not played since 2010, and it will surely be a terrific double header. Kiel have played against Celje PL and Meshkov Brest in the group stage, losing against the Slovenian champions at home.
EHF Cup draw has also been very interesting. The Croatian vice-champions Nexe are also going to play against a German side - Fuechse Berlin. The team from the German capital has quite a few Croatian players in their team: Marko Kopljar, Drago Vukovic, Jakov Gojun and Stipe Mandalinic. Mandalinic started the season with PPD Zagreb, before moving to Berlin last winter. Definitely a demanding fixture for Nexe.
