Tatran sixth, Metalurg seventh, Jaganjac 95
Tatran Presov’s final home match of the season went well for Slavko Goluza and his players who in the end celebrated a dominant 27:19 win against Metalurg. Win helped them secure sixth positions and Metalurg will on the other hand finish the regular part of the season on seventh place.
It was nice to see Rabek and Krok return after healing injuries. Hrstka and Cip however once again led scorers while goalkeeper Chupryna on the other side backed them up with some incredible saves in the second half. Filip Kuzmanovski on the other hand made yet another proof of his great form with another strong outing leading Macedonians after hosts managed to stop League’s best scorer Halil Jaganjac.
In the second half gap was slowly growing with Jakub Hrstka finishing the match with six goals. Igor Chupryna had 11 saves while on the other side Kuzmanovski and Tokic netted four each for Metalurg.
Considering our SEHA top scorer race, Butorac – Jaganjac 5:3 which puts Halil Jaganjac to a total of 95 while Bruno Butorac has 90. Biggest question is whether either on of them will manage to reach 100 with only one regular season match still ahead of them? Tatran will in four days meet Gorenje in Velenje and Metalurg will welcome Celje Pivovarna Lasko.
