SEHA - Gazprom League in numbers, season 2017/18
As we are inching closer to the end of the year, we wanted to have a look at some of the statistical data regarding the 2017/18 season. We still have 6 rounds until the Final 4, but it feels like it's just around the corner. The video analysis shows us who is the best scorer so far, which team scored the most goals, and also reminds us of some of the best individual performances of the season. Each team had their moments this season and Vardar are looking firmly in control of the first place. It is going to be a very intense battle for the remaining Final 4 spots, so we are looking forward to the next part of the season!

4 - Nexe already recorded 4 draws in 12 matches. The team from Nasice managed to win only one game
5 - Five countries with SEHA teams are going to play at the EHF Euro 2018 in Croatia. Belarus, Croatia, Macedonia, Serbia and Slovenia will all play significant roles in January.
6 - Six SEHA teams have been playing in the Champions League this season. Tatran failed to join Vardar, Meshkov, PPD Zagreb, Celje PL, Gorenje Velenje and Metalurg. No other league has more participants.
11 - Vardar played 11 matches in the SEHA- Gazprom League this season. They won all of them, winning by an average margin of 8.3!
16 - Vojvodina’s Jovica Nikolic turned 16 in November. Despite his age, he appeared in 7 matches this season, scoring some important goals.
17 - The biggest winning margin this season. Vojvodina struggled to keep up with Gorenje and lost the match 37:20.
17 - The backcourt duo Markovic and Mandalinic combined for 17 goals against Gorenje in Velenje. Both of them will be heavily missed in the next part of the season.
20 - Away teams ran away with three points 20 times this season.
20/20 - Ovnicek, Toskic and Verdinek combined for 20 goals, without a single miss. It was the last match of the season, when Gorenje beat Meshkov on the 20th of December.
30 - Vardar scored 30 or more goals in every match this season.
42 - Petar Zujovic has the most assists, despite competing in the SEHA - Gazprom League for the first time.
59 - Total number of matches played so far. We still have 31 to go in the regular season.
74 - Vardar and Dinamo played in the highest scoring match of the season. Needless to say, Vardar took 3 points- 42:32.
101 - Urban Lesjak leads the league in total saves. He stopped 101 shot, averaging 10.1 saves per match.
117 - The number of goals Bruno Butorac scored or assisted on. Of course, he is top of the league in that regard.
215 - Dainis Kristopans is still the tallest SEHA player. This summer he moved from Meshkov to Vardar.
1136 - The distance between Skopje and Brest in kilometers. Meshkov will travel to Skopje to play Metalurg in March.
3285 - The number of goals scored so far. It equates to a pretty high 55.7 goals per game.
