Cervar: "We were dictating the tempo from the very beginning"
Dinamo - Metalurg 20:25 (9:16)
(Stojanovic 5, Bunjevcevic 4 / Pesevski, Andelic 5)
Lino Cervar, Metalurg coach:
I like the fact that Dinamo is a part of SEHA League now. This is my second visit to Pancevo with the first being the one when I managed to put Umag through to first division. I still remember us falling one goal short and the fact that I was so angry I broke locker doors after the final whistle. Dinamo used to be a centre point of Serbian handball and it is great to see the club is on the rise again. Considering the match itself, I believe we were better than against Vardar dictating the tempo from the very beginning. We've prepared for Dinamo watching their match in Novi Sad in which I saw many good things. We've today displayed quality handball taking a well-deserved win in the end.
Vanja Ilic, Metalurg player:
We've managed to prove our worth on this 'hot court'. It makes me happy to see us doing our best when it is most needed.
Ivan Petkovic, Dinamo Pancevo coach:
Our goal is to deliver as many good minutes as possible. We have to respect the team of Metalurg but there was despite of that no need for us to enter the match today the way we did. Our goal as on organization is however to grow as a team here in SEHA League and see what it takes to play on such a high level.
Miljan Bunjevcevic, Dinamo Pancevo player:
We were unable to score in opening minutes but when you have such a young team it can happen from time to time. This is a good school for us because now we'll know what we have to do when stronger teams come to visit.
