Presov remains an unbeatable fortress for PPD Zagreb
One of SEHA - Gazprom League's longest traditions lives on! Multiple Croatian champions once again traveled to Slovakia with a favorite role next to their name once again failing to beat Tatran. In the end it was 33:28 with duo Krok - Butorac delivering an excellent performance combining for 15 goals being key factors for their team tonight.
It was from the very beginning clear it will be a clash of two powerful attacking teams. Defenses were not functioning on a required level on either side with the scoreboard saying 18:18 after first 30. There were some bright sides for PPD Zagreb tonight with Stipe Mandalinic leading scorers in this match with 10 in the end, Susnja going 5/5 and Slovenian goalies Kastelic - Skok combining for 14 saves but all that was not enough to break the tradition and beat Tatran led by Croatian expert Slavko Goluza.
We can now clearly say Slovak side opened SEHA League's seventh season in an amazing way with two victories against, along with Vardar, main favorites for the title - Meshkov and PPD Zagreb. Croatian champions will on the other side have to wait for the match against Vojvodina to reach second win of the season. Tatran Presov will in the next round host Celje PL.
