Presenting Dinamo Pancevo
Serbian vice-champions from the season behind us - Dinamo Pancevo, will this season for the first time ever compete in SEHA - Gazprom League. Long tradition, big club which was just like many others small steps away from the end but has with this placement managed to reach what is probably one of their biggest achievements in history. People like their president Danijel Subotic, vice-president Branko Radanovic and director Stojan Radanovic are ones most responsible for all that.
Pancevo used to have a first-division team, big names like Branislav Pokrajac, Milan Kalina, Bogosav and Dejan Peric, Petrit Fejzula... It used to be an important place on Yugoslavian handball map. Situation is now different, there are no big names of that kind but they have their youth and are doing best they possibly can led by coach Ivan Petkovic.
There are no big expectations but to prove everyone what they can, fulfil expectations and in their hall 'Streliste' show why they are here and catch the rhytm once again.
There are a few experienced SEHA players like Distol and Radulovic from Spartak Subotica, their best scorer Zujovic, playmakers Stojanovic, Banduka, Radovanovic, Radanovic or Barudzic... Goal was however of course to make the team at least a bit better than last season in order to be able to cope with upcoming challenges. Solutions were brothers Dimitric - left winger Slobodan and middle back Stanko along with experienced pivot Veselin Jelic.
