NEXE look to make the point against Veszprem count in Ljubuski
Nexe u Ljubuškom za potvrdu boda protiv Vezsprema
Izvidjac will on Wednesday (17.00 CET) in Ljubuski host NEXE. After a big point against Veszprem and good performance in Celje NEXE will look to make all good performances count and prolong the positive streak. Hosts will on the other hand look for second win of the season to close the table gap behind Metalurg and NEXE. Izvidjac are also doing good lately and the proof is good performance in Presov but a fact is that they were dominatly defeated in their first encounter against NEXE losing with 39:29 in Nasice which gives Croatian vice-champions a favorite role in this one.
Zdenko Grbavac, Izvidjac CO coach:
NEXE are in a good rhythm, they are playing well but I feel like our
chances to get a win in this one are bigger as we've already in our last match
in Presov proved we can play on a high level for 55 minutes. They are an
experienced team with a new coach but we see our chance in home court where we
always give more than we can. I hope we'll take three new points.
Josip Sarac, Izvidjac CO player:
We've played a good match in Presov even without some players which gives
us hope that we can, on home court and with our fans, reach new points in a
match against the team from Nasice.
Hrvoje Horvat, NEXE coach:
We've won a big point against Veszprem but now we have to make it count.
They are an extremely tough opponent to play away from home which they've
already proved against some even better teams. They have good transition so we'll have to be
precise and fast in running back to defense and look for more 6-on-6 plays.
Josip Bozic-Pavletic, NEXE player:
Izvidjac are a young, good team and it won't be easy to play them. In
Nasice we've managed to beat them by a big margin but we've had certain
problems in the first half. This will be a completely different match. They've
managed to make even better teams work hard in Ljubuski like Zagreb. I think we
are a better team. We have to approach the match like we did in last three
matches that's for sure.
