King Tomislav sports hall in Nasice will on Sunday (18.00 CET) host
Telekom Veszprem. Tough schedule is behind both teams with NEXE playing their
last encounter on Wednesday in Celje losing it with 34:33, and Veszprem losing
as well on Saturday in Varazdin Arena against PPD Zagreb. Match on Sunday will also be first official match
for NEXE's new coach Hrvoje Horvat in Nasice after a draw in Presov and a tight
loss in Celje.
Hrvoje Horvat, NEXE coach:
I don't feel any pressure because it will be
our first match in Nasice after I became NEXE's coach and because of the fact we
will play against one of three best European teams. We've played two very good
matches both in Presov and Celje but didn't win. My opinion is that we're still
dealing with adjustment period but we must keep up our tactics. No matter what
players Veszprem decide to use against us after the match against PPD Zagreb, I
believe that will not be an easy match for them.
Albin Eter, NEXE player:
Veszprem are not only one of the best teams
in the League but they are also one of the best in Europe. Excellent team with
excellent players. We will go and try to fight with them. Fans will be very
important for us in this one, great chance for them to prove they really are
our eighth player.
Xavi Sabaté, Telekom Veszprem coach:
After the tough clash against Zagreb it will be difficult to play away versus NEXE because our players will be tired. NEXE have a new coach who was given a chance to work mainly with young talented and some experienced players. We would like to win against them this time again but we'll need extra effort from our players for that.
Ádám Borbély, Telekom Veszprem goalkeeper:
On the next day, following our game against Zagreb, we will visit NEXE, so I am sure we will need even more focus for that match. We would like to perform as well as possible and minimize our mistakes. We want to avoid to have such a close finish like it was in Veszprém. This time it would be better if we can build up a confident lead and decide the match earlier. Of course, we respect them very much. They are a good team having talented young players and some excellent experienced players like Spiler and Zrnic.

Telekom Veszprem. Bit će to susret jedne momčadi s donjeg dijela tablice i
momčadi iz vrha lige. Iza hrvatske i mađarske momčadi je vrlo zgusnut raspored.
Svoj posljednji susret NEXE je odigrao u srijedu u Celju. Također Telekom
Veszprem će igrati u Našicama manje od 24 sata nakon susreta u Varaždinu gdje
je PPD Zagreb ugostio momčad iz Mađarske i branitelja naslova prvaka SEHA Gazprom
league. Nedjeljni susret biti će prvi službeni novog trenera NEXE-a Hrvoja
Horvata u Našicama, pred našičkom publikom. Horvat je dosad vodio svoju novu
momčad dva puta, oba puta u gostima. NEXE je s Horvatom odigralo neriješeno u
Prešovu protiv Tatrana, a potom je prije nekoliko dana nesretno poražena u
Celju od Pivovarne Laško (34:33).

Ne osjećam pritisak zato što će mi biti ovo prvi susret u Našicama otkako
sam postao trener NEXE-a, niti zbog toga što je Veszprem jedna od tri najbolje
momčadi u Europi. Odigrali smo dva vrlo
dobra susreta u Prešovu i Celju, ali nismo pobijedili. Moje je mišljenje da još
uvijek prolazimo fazu prilagodbe, igrači na moje metode, a ja sa svojim
pristupom na mogućnosti igrača. Moramo se prije svega držati naših principa.
Nije važno u kojem će sastavu Veszprem zaigrati jedan dan nakon susreta protiv
PPD Zagreba, vjerujem kako im neće biti ni malo lako.

Veszprem nije samo jedna od najboljih momčadi SEHA Gazprom lige. Oni su
jedna od najboljih momčadi u Europi. Odlična momčad s odličnim igračima. Idemo

biti mogućnost da pokažu koliko je dobar naš osmi igrač.

A Zagreb elleni kemény összecsapást követően biztosan nehéz dolgunk lesz a Nexe otthonában, hiszen a játékosaink fáradtak lesznek. A Nexének új vezetőedzője van, aki főként fiatal tehetséges és pár rutinos játékossal dolgozhat együtt. Ezúttal is győzni szeretnénk ellenük, de ehhez nagy erőfeszítésre lesz szükség a játékosaink részéről.

Egy nehéz, Zágráb ellen megvívott mérkőzés követően érkezünk másnap a Nexe otthonába, így biztos, hogy még több koncentrációra lesz szükség azon a találkozón. Szeretnénk minél jobban tejesíteni és minél kevesebb hibával játszani. El akarjuk kerülni, hogy olyan szoros legyen a végjáték, mint amilyen Veszprémben volt. Ezúttal jó lenne korábban, a mérkőzés folyamán egy magabiztos előnyt kialakítani. Természetesen nagyon tiszteljük őket, hiszen jó csapat az övék, sok tehetséges fiatallal, valamint kiváló rutinos játékosokkal, mint Spiler és Zrnic.
