Celje Pivovarna Lasko have confirmed good form with another win over Izvidjac CO 42:33 (16:17) in SEHA Gazprom League. Although Bosnian champions have managed to take the first half it was not enough to bring down Slovenian powerhouse whose 'run and gun' style proved to be a bingo for the second half. 

Hosts have managed to open the match well grabbing 3-goal lead in the first half but unfortunately for their fans it was as far as they could go with Celje leveling it up before the halftime and in the end crushing their opponents in the second half with amazingly high tempo.

Ziga Mlakar netted nine for winners, Gal Marguc added eight. On the other side, Ante Grbavac scored eight, while Josip Sarac netted seven.

I would like to congratulate Ljubuski on a nice match. They have shown that all my pregame statements about them were true. They did show diversity, speed punishing all our mistakes in the first part of the match. In the second one we've had to work hard to turn the match in our favor. Of course I would prefer us playing like that from the first minute, but like I said, Ljubuski is not a naive team. They play very nice handball and I have to point out that they will have a lot of work trying to keep all these interesting players. Like us, they are producing players and that is how this goes. Congratulations to my team which was on the right level in the second half.

Izvidjac gave their maximum, especially in the first half. After first 30 minutes we were down by one but then we've managed to do what our coach wanted us pointing the match in our way. We were slowly raising our tempo, our play reaching comfortable win in the end.

First of all, I would like to congratulate home team on a win. We repeat mistakes from match to match playing 45 minutes really good and then blowing it up due to lack of focus and experience. At the moment when we should decide the match in our favor, we are allowing rivals to play their game. This is the main reason for our defeats, but I have to congratulate my team on a good fight and motivation. We have this problem that we play against really good teams which are able to raise their performance and rhythm in the last quarter of the match and in that period we are not so good which is the main reason for these big margins in the end.

We've played a solid match winning the first half. After a good start we fall down both physically and mentally against better teams in many matches. I have to congratulate home team on a win.
