Big news from Slovakia: Bruno Butorac set to join Luka Sebetic in Tremblay!
After two amazing seasons with Tatran Presov, the Croatian right back will leave the Slovakian champions at the end of the season, as the French club Tremblay announced they have signed a 2-year contract with Bruno Butorac.
Before joining Tatran Presov, Butorac played for Dubrava Zagreb and PPD Zagreb as a youngster, where he even made his SEHA debut in the 2012/13 season. But, Butorac established himself at the big scene with two fantastic seasons with Tatran Presov. Butorac was second in the scoring race in SEHA – Gazprom League, in both 2017/18 and 2018/19 season, as he scored 95 goals last year and 90 in this one. Apart from great scoring, he also recorded a phenomenal number of assists, with 82 overall.
Apart from his fantastic performances in SEHA – Gazprom League, Butorac won the gold medal with Croatian national team at the Mediterranean Games in Tarragona in 2018, but also played very well for Tatran Presov in European competitions.
The 24-year old was definitely one of the best players in SEHA – Gazprom League in the last two seasons. His last SEHA match, at least for now, was spectacular as he scored 9 goals against PPD Zagreb, to lead his team to a big victory. His final SEHA tally is 186 goals and 82 assists in 39 appearances for PPD Zagreb and Tatran Presov.
