SEHA - Gazprom League January player transfers
While the entire focus of the handball world is on World Championship which is being held in Germany and Denmark, some of SEHA participating teams decided to use the winter break in order to reinforce for the second part of the season.
PPD Zagreb will in the second part of the season finally be able to count on their summer signing – right back Nikola Potic who spent the entire first part of the season recovering from an injury he suffered upon arriving to Croatian capital. Apart from that, club decided to part ways with Belgian playmaker Arber Qerimi bringing in 21-year-old Slovenian middle back Aleks Vlah from Gorenje. In the second part of the season, 'Lions' will also be led by their new head coach Branko Tamse.
Tatran Presov managed to sign 25-year-old French line player from St. Raphael Ognjen Djeric. With that signing, Slovak champions are now looking pretty stacked on the pivot position and the odd man out will be young Ante Babic who has already signed with Zeleznicar but will join the team from Nis during the summer.
